TOD project - Transit-Oriented-Development Framework for Hangzhou

The TSE lab has led a project on Transit-Orient-Development. The objective of this work is to specify a new generation of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) framework for the City of Hangzhou in China. This is required to support Hangzhou’s growing need for a better public transport system and land use planning. This project reviewed the existing TOD approaches around the world, analyse the unique TOD features in Hangzhou, undertake a gap analysis and use the results to specify the requirements (including improvements to the current approaches) for the development of the new TOD framework for the City of Hangzhou.
