From December 13-14, 2023, the 9th International Symposium on Transportation Network Resilience (INSTR2023) was held in Hong Kong. The symposium, co-organized by the University of Hong Kong’s Institute of Transport Studies and the Department of Civil Engineering, covered various aspects of traffic analysis, planning, design, control, and management. It served as a significant gathering for global professionals interested in the resilience and reliability of transportation networks.

On May 22nd, the forum themed “Future Communities with Intelligent Transportation Systems” was successfully held in the International Campus, Zhejiang University. This forum was jointly organized by Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI), School of Public Affairs of Zhejiang University, International Business School of Zhejiang University (ZIBS), Center for Balance Architecture of Zhejiang University, and Intelligent Transportation Engineering Research Center in Zhejiang. And it’s strongly supported by ZJU Virtual Lab for Computable Digital Transport, Future Mobility Lab, Research Center for Computational Social Sciences, Advanced Electrical International Research Center, and Zhejiang Computer Society.
On December 11th, 2020, the online workshop themed “Mobility and Logistics in the Era of the Coronavirus Pandemic” (click here to visit the workshop website) was successfully held. The international workshop was jointly organized by Dr. Simon Hu at Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute(ZJUI) and Professor Michael GH Bell at the Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies (ITLS) of the University of Sydney. The workshop with seven themed speeches isseeking for different ranges of approaches, assumptions and research priorities concerning the resilience of existing mobility and logistics systems under the pandemic situation.
The First INCLUSION Fintech Conference held by Alibaba’s fintech arm Ant Group kicked off on September 24, 2020, in Shanghai. The three-day conference, taking place both online and onsite from Thursday to Saturday, brings officials and professionals across the globe to envision the digital economy of the future.
Our TSELab members participated in Zhejiang University Global Fintech Forum of this conference on Saturday. At the forum, Lianzhen He, vice president of Zhejiang University, and Tao Wei, vice president of Ant Group, formally signed the cooperation agreement between Zhejiang University and Ant Group FinTech.
The 2nd Zhejiang International Intelligent Transportation Industry Expo (ITIE) & Future Transportation Conference was held in Hangzhou international expo center on December 6-8, 2019. The TSELab members have participated in the conference.
With the theme of “New Transportation Epoch & Great Industrial Pattern”, the Expo built a great platform for the communication, cooperation and application of technological achievements. The Expo was presented with eight pavilions in sub-themes of rail transit, aviation, smart transportation, intelligent equipment, logistic, 5G application, comprehensive transportation, and innovation.
